Gap Hotels owns and co-invests in hotel real estate, and is an independent, third-party operator of hotels.

All of the valuable reports we provide should assist our leaders in knowing when a process may need to be changed or enhanced to ensure the best possible experience for our guests.

INSPECT THE EXPECTATION

We will ensure we are walking our properties, inspecting our properties, and holding folks accountable. Through the audit process we must ensure our team members know where improvements are to be made and provide the proper training to accomplish those tasks.

COMMUNICATION

We will communicate in an open and honest environment, we will communicate frequently at all levels. It is imperative that after the communication takes place we follow up to ensure that everything was understood and change the communication process if there are misunderstandings.

By implementing the first four Objectives we anticipate that the fifth objective, our ultimate goal, will be achieved. By creating consistency there will be fewer surprises allowing our leaders to focus on all the faucets of our business.   • Founder/President/Chief Executive Officer

    Gary Patel serves as Founder, President and C.E.O. of Gap Hotels, LLC. With over 20+ years of hotel experience. He has been in the hotel industry since 1991 and started with owning/operating an independent motel in a small town called Lyons GA. A lifelong learner and second generation hotel owner/operator. Gary Patel brings professional experience in the Technology, Hospitality, and real estate Investment sectors. His expertise include all areas of finance including acquisition, disposition, refinance, and financial statement analysis. He is also involved in the day-to-day operations of all assets, hotel revenue management, and franchise relationships. He is an expert in project feasibility, corporate finance, marketing, strategic planning, market structures, relationships, portfolio, asset management and general management. Gap Hotels is driven by its core values of growth, ethical, accountable, reliability, genuine care and impact. The company works hard to add value and no confuse activity with accomplishment.

  • Senior Vice President of Pre-Openings/Accounts Payable/Partner

    Lena has extensive experience in hotel openings & all aspects of accounts payable. She provides proactive management and guidance on all levels, for pre-opening hotels. Lena is responsible for Overseeing FF&E Installation, Grand Opening Planning, Architectural Operational Review, Operating Policies & Procedures, Assisting with Recruitment of Hotel General Manager, Operating Budget & Financial Planning, maintain accurate financial and operational reporting. Lena has been involved in the hospitality industry for more than 12+ years. In addition to providing valuable support to Gary in business ventures, she has handled all office and accounts payable areas for the company. Lena oversees all office and administrative areas for the hotels and provides precise accountability and financial controls.

  • President of Development

    Amit Patel joined Gap Hotels in 2009 with the vision of creating a hotel management company that provides more than just management, “I wanted to build a company committed to the development of successful, long-term relationships.” Over the course of the time Amit became Vice President of Development and Construction providing an additional layer of oversight for the numerous, complex development projects under construction at any given time. Amit does all the Site analysis, site planning & design; preparation of detailed development schedules & timelines; developing cost estimates and proforma budgets. He also oversees of the entire entitlement process including obtaining all planning/ zoning and other necessary city and state approvals, basically managing the entire construction process though acceptance by Franchisor, turnover to Operations/ hotel opening, and construction close-out.
